Digital Revamp — TouchPoint Digital Revamp — Next.js, TypeScript & GSAP Case Study
TouchPoint,rebuiltfor speed
A full-scale digital revamp re-architected as a high-performance, interactive web platform — modular content, motion-led storytelling and a front end engineered for speed at every breakpoint.
(01) — The engineering brief
The
problem
TouchPoint needed a complete digital revamp: a platform that told its story with motion and interactivity, stayed fast on every device, and let the team publish content without developer involvement.
- Role
- Lead full-stack engineering, front-end architecture, motion system
- Discipline
- Full-Stack Next.js & Laravel
(02) — System architecture
How it’s built
01
Next.js App Router
Statically rendered routes with streaming for dynamic sections, keeping the critical path lean.
02
Headless CMS content model
Modular content blocks that editors compose into pages, rendered by typed React components.
03
GSAP motion system
A shared library of timelines, easings and ScrollTrigger patterns so every animation feels part of one language.
04
Responsive front-end architecture
Layout tokens and fluid type that hold the design together from small phones to wide desktop screens.
(03) — Key technical challenges solved
Hard parts,
handled
Rich motion without hurting Core Web Vitals.
Animations start only after the content has painted, use transforms and opacity exclusively, and respect reduced-motion preferences.
Editors needed flexibility without breaking the design.
A constrained block model: each block exposes only the options the design allows, so any combination still looks intentional.
Consistent behaviour across a wide range of breakpoints.
Fluid clamp-based type and spacing tokens replaced one-off breakpoint overrides.
